ABOUT John

John Borden is a California native first intrigued with wood working when working as an apprentice to a furniture factory in the Seattle area 40 years ago. He later worked as a finish carpenter building spiral and circular stair cases, laminating the stringer and hand turning each baluster on a lathe. John's artistic talent has exploded over the last decade and his mastery of woodworking techniques results in beautiful, one of a kind pieces.

John is passionate about Claro and Bastogne walnut but often incorporates other beautiful African woods such as Zebra and Padak into his design.
